Matt joined John R. Waters & Company in 2008. His responsibilities include working with both businesses and individuals in the areas of tax return preparation, audit and attestation services, and assisting with financial statement preparation. Matt also works closely with clients providing accounting support and Quickbooks training and troubleshooting. 

Matt works primarily with small and mid-sized businesses in manufacturing, commodity trading, and warehousing and distribution. He also works extensively with retirement benefit plans providing legal and governmental compliance services.

Matt received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from North Central College in 2007 and his Master of Accounting Science from Northern Illinois University in 2008. He serves on the Young Professionals Outreach Committee of the College of DuPage Foundation, and is a member of the Illinois CPA Society.
