On June 14, 2007 John R. Waters & Company lost Bill Hogan, a dear colleague, friend and mentor. As a partner at the firm for more than 25 years, Bill helped create an organization with which we are so very proud to be a part. He so enjoyed mentoring young professionals with whom he worked that he created not only financially astute business advisors, but leaders that understood the responsibility of leadership. He was the visionary behind the firm’s internship program that started over 15 years ago and is still going strong. As a testament to his legacy, John R. Waters & Company, his family and some of his close friends have come together to honor his name through the William W. Hogan Scholarship Fund.

About the Scholarship

The William W. Hogan Scholarship Fund is an endowed scholarship fund that has been set-up in conjunction with the Krannert School of Business at Purdue University, Bill’s alma mater. This scholarship will be given annually to students pursuing an accounting degree at Purdue University, and who exhibit both a financial need as well as merit-based qualifications. The scholarship amount will be based on the total funds that we raise and will be given indefinitely, unless the endowment is closed. Over the course of the next year, we will be accepting donations for this scholarship fund, and we will be holding several events to help raise money for the fund.
